My name is Candie and I’m a semi-retired “winter-Texan,” hailing originally from Lansing, Michigan, where I return in the summer months.

In January of 1991, I enrolled in a stained glass workshop.  I had seen many beautiful pieces and I wanted to learn the craft.  For the next four years, I played with glass intermittently.  We moved to the coastal bend of Texas in 1995 when we officially retired and I decided it would be a good “something to do” endeavor which I enjoy.

My first project was this crystal pyramid, which catches the brilliant rays of the sunlight and sends soft rainbows into the room.  A friend begged me to allow her to take a few of them with her to a craft show.  I eventually relented and she sold all four pyramids right away.  Imagine my surprise!  My little “hobby” of creating stained glass items was born…

Today, the vast majority of my designs are original.  I have books and manuals for inspiration, however, I enjoy giving my crafts my personal touch.  For the past several years, I have slowly begun to specialize in the Texas coastal birds and flowers which are so favored here in the Sunny South.  However, I have many repeat customers with special requests.  With some design guidance from the customer, I can create nearly any piece a customer might desire, including small, intricate pieces such as a 1”x2” sea shell to very large and ornate windows.

I started out with a few boxes of supplies tucked away in a compartment in our motorhome.  Today, I have a well-equipped and organized, albeit small, studio.  The hours of my now semi-retirement lifestyle slip quickly away into the dusk of the evening, whether working tried-and-true patterns or designing an original, one-of-a-kind creation.

Plan to spend a little time browsing my online catalog.  It is photo heavy but well worth the minutes.  Send me an email at
